Knockout Cup
The Knockout Cup competition will start in the New Year.
When the Knockout Cup competition gets underway, every team in the game will be randomly drawn against another to play a head-to-head encounter. The manager who scores the most points in a round (i.e a 'Game Week' where there is a substantial Premier League schedule) progresses, while the loser is eliminated.
Rounds ('Game Weeks') run from Tuesday - Monday. In the event of a Monday night fixture, the Knockout Cup results (and the draw for the next round) will be updated on Tuesday morning. Rounds have been scheduled so that the last two teams will meet in the final on the last day of the season (the 22nd May).
As with the game as a whole, your Knockout Cup score will be based on points earned in Premier League games only. In the event of a draw on points, the winning team will be the one that scored the most goals and then assists. If still tied, the away team goes through.
The last manager standing at the end of the season will win...
